JMSA is excited to post the 2010 JMSA Community Outreach Program (JCOP) application. If your organization provides valuable medically and socially related services to the Japanese community, please apply for a 2010 JCOP Grant.
We will be accepting applications from August 1st, 2010 and the due date is October 1st, 2010. We will only accept applications completed in English. Please click here for the application form.

The JMSA Interview Series is a student-ran project sponsored by JMSA and the Honjo and Nishioka Foundations, where medical students interview attending physicians in various specialties. The interviews are posted online for educational purposes.
The most recent interview is with Dr. Makoto Iwahara, a gastroenterologist and the current president of JMSA. Please click "Read More" to view the full article. The 38th JMSA Annual Spring Dinner was held on April 17th at the Yale Club of NYC.  On June 6th, 2010, the fourth annual Japan Day was held at Central Park in NYC. New Yorkers gathered on the East Meadow to enjoy the highly publicized event. Activities ranged from musical performances to food stands to our Wellness Checkup Tent! Numerous volunteers from JMSA and JAMS'Net spent the day working the tent, providing health screening services for the New York community. Please click "Read more" to view photographs from the event.
