As we all know, on January 12th, a 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti, leaving the island and its people in devastation. JMSA is supporting Doctors Without Borders in their delivery of medical care to those caught in crisis. The humanitarian organization is repairing obstetrics and trauma hospitals, and transporting physicians and medical supplies to the island for makeshift emergency medical response centers. We have contributed a monetary donation to its Haiti relief efforts, and JMSA members interested in supporting their work would be encouraged to make contributions directly at doctorswithoutborders.org, or 1-888-392-0392. Thank you for your attention.
