We rely on your donations to support our scholarship funds, community outreach program, society meetings, and lecture series for the Japanese community. We could not make it without your support. Thank you to all who supported the JMSA last year. Your contributions make a positive difference for our society and those we serve.

Are donations tax exempt?

Would you like to create an ongoing scholarship in your name or you business name through JMSA? Would you like to donate money to community outreach and education? Or would you just like to support the general charitable fund?

Donations are 100% tax deductible; regular priced tickets to fundraiser dinners are 45% tax deductible.

The Japanese Medical Society of America, Inc. (JMSA) is a tax exempt organization with Federal Tax ID#23-7383500.  It is exempt under the following Internal Revenue Code sections:
      501(c)(3)
      509(a)(1)
      170(b)(1)(A)(vi) - 2055, 2106 or 2522

How do I get involved?

If you would like to get more involved with JMSA, come be a part of the action and volunteer for a committee!

There are many possibilities, including (but not limited to): Writing for the newsletter, taking digital photographs for the website, helping to keep the website up-to-date, giving a lecture for the Japanese American community about health issues in your community on behalf of the JMSA, helping in planning the next social event, translate portions of the website into Japanese, etc.
