Chinese American Medical Society (CAMS) and Coalition of Asian-American IPA (CAIPA) had its Red Lantern Gala on November 4th, 2023, at Pier 60 Chelsea Piers in New York City to celebrate the momentous occasion of CAMS’ 60th Anniversary.
Our own Dr. Alex Ky-Miyasaka , a JMSA Board Member and a Professor of Surgery at the Mount Sinai Hospital, became the new President of CAMS.
This annual gala plays a pivotal role in advancing its mission to enhance the health status of Chinese Americans and to champion healthcare excellence for all by mobilizing healthcare professionals. Dr. Ky-Miyasaka is the Medical Director of the Mount Sinai Chinatown Practice and provides expert care to the community.
