Shared to the JMSA community by Dr. Yusuke Matsuura, JMSA 2024 Scholarship Recipient
The Japanese Medical Society of America (JMSA) is pleased to support the upcoming special lectures hosted by the Division of Postgraduate Education & Training at the National Center for Child Health and Development(国立成育医療研究センター). Featuring Dr. Michael Boeckh and Dr. Janet Englund, two globally renowned experts in infectious diseases, these lectures will provide invaluable insights into CMV and respiratory virus infections in immunocompromised hosts, as well as the latest advancements in RSV and influenza prevention and treatment.

As a JMSA scholarship recipient dedicated to strengthening Japan-US intercountry medical education through the Japan-US intercountry Educational Pediatric Conference Program, I am particularly excited about this event’s role in fostering cross-border knowledge exchange. It closely aligns with JMSA’s mission to support education, training, and collaboration that enhance medical care for the Japanese and Japanese-American communities.
We encourage all healthcare professionals and researchers with an interest in infectious diseases to take advantage of this unique opportunity to learn from esteemed experts and engage in meaningful discussions that bridge medical expertise between Japan and the United States.
